About
Danielle “Queen D.” Scott is a multitalented creative — MC, beatmaker, music arranger & director, multimedia architect, and hip-hop educator. Her artistic compositions and research engage Afrofuturism, AI technology, digital cypher practices via social media sharing, gaming, and speculative fiction — all explored using the lens of her relationship with God as expressed through prayer. Scott’s research around hip-hop and technology has led to her being featured on such programs as PBS Voices “Hip Hop & The Metaverse” and her most recent hip-hop multimedia work entitled The Black Book Cypher: An Invitation / To Talk Back / To The Screen debuted at the Berklee Performance Center in 2024.
Currently, Scott is a PhD candidate in Brown University’s Music & Multimedia Composition program, is a professor in the Ensemble Department at Berklee College of Music, and serves on the music ministry at Kingdom Full Tabernacle International Ministries.
